New WOWBOX: lots of snacks and … a trip to Japan!

When WOWBOX offered us a few weeks ago to take a look (and a bite) at the new version of the box full of Japanese snacks, we couldn’t say no. On one hand because we never say no to food, on the other because we really like the variety of contents of WOWBOX, which always creates a perfect balance between sweet and savoury. Let’s find out what’s new and the fantastic contest that WOWBOX has reserved for its subscribers!

Kawaii at the movies: Toy Story 4

Believe it or not, there was a time in my life when I stopped watching cartoons. And that period more or less coincides with the release of the first two Toy Story movies. Fortunately, after the high school I came back to my senses, but it took years before I decided to watch for the first time the adventures of Woody and his friends. After a third chapter that sounded a lot like a goodbye, Toy Story 4 arrives now in movie theatres to bring us once again into the secret world of toys. And this time I didn’t waste any time before seeing the new Disney-Pixar movie: will it live up to the previous ones?

Kawaii at the Movies: Aladdin

Back in 1992, we still were children when we left the movie theatre with heart-eyes after watching Aladdin for the first time. Almost 30 years have passed (we feel old just writing it) and in this period we have seen the animated movie so many times that we know every scene by heart… and we are certain that we are not alone! Now Disney brings us back to Agrabah, this time with protagonists in the flesh: are Arabian nights still as magical as they once were?

Watched for you: Rilakkuma and Kaoru, the San-x series on Netflix

After a long wait (we announced it to you at the end of October 2017), Rilakkuma TV series is available on Netflix since April 19th! The lazy bear created by Aki Kondo and San-x’s leading character is the protagonist, together with his inseparable friends, of Rilakkuma and Kaoru, a series of 13 episodes that answers some burning questions: how big is Rilakkuma? how is his voice? is he really a bear dressed like a bear? We binge-watched it last weekend! Find out if we liked it!

Kawaii books: Giappomania

A few weeks ago, during a bookstore tour, our attention was drawn to a very colourful book with an unmistakable title: Giappomania (in English it’s something like Japanmania). It is written by Marco Reggiani, with the illustrations of Sabrina Ferrero, and it is a little jewel that we had to add to our library of kawaii books. If you don’t already know it, we show you the book more closely.

Kawaii at the Movies: Ralph Breaks the Internet

Let’s start the year in the best way with a new animated film, one of those we like! In fact, since January 1st, Ralph Breaks the Internet is in all Italian theatres. The new Disney movie takes us back to the crazy world of video games and sends us, with its protagonists, on the internet. How will Ralph and Vanellope cope with social networks, algorithms and search engines?

Video: let’s eat lots of Christmas sweets

According to the calendar, Christmas was a week ago, but we still want to celebrate. While we are waiting for midnight and the new year, we show you our new video-tasting full of Japanese Christmas sweets. Are you curious to find out which candy received the precious thumbs up from little Eleonora?

Kawaii games: SUMI SUMI

Are you looking for a new simple, fun and above all kawaii smartphone game? In this case, we recommend that you download and install SUMI SUMI, the puzzle game that features San-x characters and that has much in common with one of our favourite games: Tsum Tsum (even the name is similar). If you do not know it yet, we talk a little bit about it.
