Even though we’ve always been Disney fans, there was a period of our lives when we moved away from the world of Mickey and Co. and this period includes 2004, the year in which The Incredibles came out in theatres. In the end, we saw the first chapter of the adventures of the family of superheroes and we also liked it, but it did not stay in our heart (unlike other films of the period, that we watched at a later time). How was Incredibles 2, in theatres in Italy since September 19th?

In these last days of spring, Japanese animation returns to Italian movie theatres! From June 14 to 20, in fact, Mary and the Witch’s Flower, the first work of Studio Ponoc, “heir” of the most famous Studio Ghibli, will arrive on the silver screens. The movie, distributed in Italy by Lucky Red, is based on the novel The little broomstick, by Mary Stewart, and it is an exciting story of friendship and magic set between the English countryside and a school for magicians and witches (no, Harry Potter has nothing to do with it).

Do you remember Sanrio Boys? We talked about them almost a year ago, after the release of the first trailer of the anime that sees them as protagonists. The last of the 12 episodes aired a couple of weeks ago and we bingewatched them one after the other. Studio Pierrot produced the series and it is only the last piece of a multiplatform project that includes a manga, a videogame and a future theatrical show. Here is the plot and our impressions on the animated adventures of Sanrio Boys!
Have you spent a Happy Easter? Did you enjoy opening chocolate eggs? Well, today we stay on the subject because we are talking about eggs. Not those to eat, though: Tamagotchi’s eggs. Yes, because the most famous virtual pet in the world, created in the Nineties by Bandai, is back with its first smartphone game: My Tamagotchi Forever. Shall we open our egg?
Christmas means lunches and dinners with family, presents to unwrap, but also the new Disney/Pixar movie opening in theatres! This year it’s the turn of Coco, a kaleidoscopic adventure that brings us in the distant Mexico and the far more distant world of the dead. The movie is out in Italian cinemas on December 28th, just in time to relax (and empty the stomach) waiting for New Year’s Eve: let’s talk a bit about it.
