Disney Princess: here are the red carpet dolls

You know those beautiful illustrations that you find here and there on the internet on the genre “Disney Princesses who wear historically accurate clothes”? Well, Disney has decided to play the game too! The Premiere series is the new collection of Disney Designer limited edition dolls that imagines the Princesses on the red carpet at the premiere of the movie they feature. And they are one more beautiful than the other!

Let’s start in 1937, with the release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, then we go in the fifties, with the beautiful Cinderella and we jump again to the eighties/nineties with Ariel, Belle and Jasmine. Last, but only for the chronological order, is Tiana, which takes us up to 2009. Each Princess wears for the occasion a magnificent evening dress inspired by her “classic” look and the style that was fashionable in the year of her debut on the screens.

The first one to arrive online and in some selected Disney Stores (in Italy, in Milan, Rome, Florence and Naples) is Snow White, who with her beautiful 30s gown is one of our favourites (equal merit with Jasmine). The launch is scheduled for October 9, with subsequent releases on October 16 (Cinderella), October 30 (Ariel),  November 13 (Belle), November 27 (Jasmine) and December 11 (Tiana). Each doll will be produced in only 4100 pieces and offered for sale at a price of 110 euros.

From September 28 will be also available the makeup collection inspired by Disney Designer, produced by the American brand ColourPop. The set includes a palette of eyeshadows “autographed” by the Princesses, creamy eyeshadows with super bright colours, lipgloss and a series of lipsticks. We hope that the other Princesses will arrive soon too: we are very curious to see their red carpet dresses!
