Things we like: Little Twin Stars home accessories for “grown-ups”

What combination of colours do you think of if we tell you Little Twin Stars? The answer of the overwhelming majority of you will surely be pink and light blue. But now in Japan, there’s a new collection of home accessories that will make happy those of you who, while loving Kiki and Lala, prefer more neutral colours and a more discreet design.

It’s called Deuxetoile (Twostars, all attached) and it is the line created by Sanrio in collaboration with Belle Maison, a Japanese online store of household products. It is a limited edition of 21 accessories, which includes practical bags and backpacks, wallets, watches, but also underwear, duvet and pillowcases for the bed, curtains, plaids and accessories to decorate the bedroom.

Instead of the classic pink and blue, Deuxetoile chooses softer colours, such as purple and antique pink, grey and a touch of blue, which combine well with the delicate illustrations of Kiki and Lala between stars and constellations, embroidered in some cases in gold and silver thread. Those blankets seem really soft and warm like a cloud!
