Kawaii at the movies: 5 good reasons to watch Finding Dory

Today on Kawaii Gazette we do something new: we go the the movies! It’s been a while since we thought to talk about movies as well, the animated movies we love so much and we watch for pleasure and for work, movies that are quite kawaii… and we usually watch very late! But not this time, at least in Italy! So, let’s cut to the chase and talk about one of our most anticipated movies: Finding Dory (out in Italy this week)! Here are our 5 (+1) reasons to watch the new adventures of the forgetful little fish, at the theatre like us or in DVD.

5. It’s the sequel to Finding Nemo. We don’t know what you think, but for us Finding Nemo is one of the best animated movies of all time (or for me the best movie ever). If you loved the first adventures of Marlin, Nemo and Dory as weel, you will find all the emotions, the fun and the amazing landscape of the first film. And also you will find out what happened to most of the characters you love.

4. It’s a brand new story. The main characters are the same and you will meet again a lot of old folks (don’t miss the credits!), but the story has many surprises (which we don’t want to spoil). As for Finding Nemo, the director is Andrew Stanton, a real guarantee: he was also author and director of WALL-E and writer of that masterpiece known as Toy Story 3.

3. You’ll meet new amazing characters. During her journey, Dory will find the help of many new friends… of course, as weird as she is. The highlight is the octopus Hank, actually a sectopus (he has just seven tentacles) with three hearts and a bad temper. He and Dory make a weird and super fun couple and their incredible adventures through the rooms and corridors of the Marine Life Institute (like a spy-story) are among the funniest parts of the movie.
