Video: Expo 2015, Japan Pavilion and more

Among very long queues and food from all over the world, we went to Expo 2015! Last September, our brave Debby left for Milan to attend the World’s Fair dedicated to nutrition, managing to enter into the legendary and for many people inviolable Japan Pavilion.

The Japanese exhibition area is divided in rooms representing the spirit and the relatioship with nature and food of the country, always divided between innovation and tradition. There are artworks dedicated to the four seasons, a virtual rice field, an interactive waterfall to discover food diversity, a showcase of what you can eat in the land of the Rising Sun and a laboratory to understand how Japanese innovation can respond to the nutrition problems of our time.

The final destination of the journey is the restaurant of the future: an interactive show with a digital menu and the chance to create your favourite dish, choosing from various options and using chopsticks and a touchscreen. Debby made some short movies inside Japan Pavilion, which we show you in the video below, with a small photogallery dedicated to the other pavillions she could visit (more pictures in the slideshow above). We are a little hungry now… and you? 🙂
