Kawaii planners 2020: our 5 favourites

That time of year has finally arrived. The period in which we begin to think about the planner for the next year, which coincides with the period in which Sanrio and San-x launch their new collection of diaries and calendars. In the face of bullet journals, our favourite planners remain the Japanese kawaii ones: already dated and in super compact format (the only flaw is that they are not very easy to find online). As every year, we went to take a look at the new selection in Sanrio and San-x online stores: here are the 5 planners (and not only) that we liked most!

Love at first sight: the Rilakkuma forest by Re-ment

Do you believe in love at first sight? We do, especially when it comes to Re-ment, the Japanese kawaii miniatures that sometimes we even regret taking them out of their boxes (but we do it anyway). This time our heart was conquered by the brand new series of blind-boxes dedicated to Rilakkuma in its natural environment: the forest. Will it make you fall in love too?

Watched for you: Rilakkuma and Kaoru, the San-x series on Netflix

After a long wait (we announced it to you at the end of October 2017), Rilakkuma TV series is available on Netflix since April 19th! The lazy bear created by Aki Kondo and San-x’s leading character is the protagonist, together with his inseparable friends, of Rilakkuma and Kaoru, a series of 13 episodes that answers some burning questions: how big is Rilakkuma? how is his voice? is he really a bear dressed like a bear? We binge-watched it last weekend! Find out if we liked it!

Kawaii games: SUMI SUMI

Are you looking for a new simple, fun and above all kawaii smartphone game? In this case, we recommend that you download and install SUMI SUMI, the puzzle game that features San-x characters and that has much in common with one of our favourite games: Tsum Tsum (even the name is similar). If you do not know it yet, we talk a little bit about it.

Kawaii food: the adorable dishes of Korilakkuma Café

The year 2018 is not just the Year of the Dog. It is also the year of Rilakkuma, who is about to celebrate his 15th birthday: incredible but true, our favourite bear was born in 2003! In Japan, the celebrations already started in our favourite way: with food. In Tokyo and Saitama, in fact, there are two pop-up café dedicated to the inseparable friend of our lazy hero, Korilakkuma. Ready to get hungry?
