We already talked about it a couple of weeks ago on Twitter: H&M, the popular chain of clothing stores, has included in it’s new spring collection some clothes (t-shirts, leggings and shoes) clearly inspired by Japanese kawaii fashion.

Cute Shopping: YesStyle, clothes and accessories from Asia to your wardrobe
On our blog we talked quite often about Japanese “alternative” street-styles, but asian fashion is not only Gothic Lolita or Fairy Kei. Along the streets of Tokyo and around, in fact, most girls wear clothes surely less flashy but not less kawaii. We can’t go shopping in Shibuya, but we can buy the latest fashion clothes and accessories directly from our homes!
Not only for girls: Hello Kitty launches her male collection
Who said Hello Kitty it’s just for girls? Apparently, boys like Sanrio’s kitty as well, at least in Japan, where has just debuted a new clothing line for men, called Hello Kitty Men.
Shopping in Tokyo: Ciali’s workshop at Lucca Comics and Games
As we told you, a few weeks ago our friend Ciali (in Kawaiiland) held a workshop during the last edition of Lucca Comics and Games. At the event, she talked about shopping and in particular about the best stores in which buy kawaii things in Tokyo… but not only that!
Events: Harajuku arrives to Lucca Comics and Games 2014
It is surely the most awaited appointment for comics, videogames and Japan lovers all over Italy: Lucca Comics and Games! Unfortunately, this year we will not be there, but lucky for Japanese fashion and kawaii style lovers with a ticket in their pockets there are many events to attend!
Etude House opens its international store
When you think of oriental cosmetics, it is impossible not to mention Etude House, the famous Korean brand which we had talked about in our first video tutorial recently. The make-up lovers who have recently flown to Japan probably haven’t miss the opportunity to shop in the Harajuku and Shinjuku stores, opened since 2001. Etude House in fact combines a great selection of beauty products (always up to date with the latest trends in the East) with an absolutely kawaii packaging.
Collaborations: Alice & The Pirates x Sentimental Circus
The fact that kawaii characters are opening on the fashion world by collaborating with more or less famous brands is not new. This time, it’s the turn of Sentimental Circus, the San-x circus animals that have won our hearts since their first appearance (and the hearts of many kawaii-girls of a certain age). And the result of their first fashion collab is truly remarkable!
Events: Frock On! lolita convention in London
As we had anticipated on Twitter, on August 31st we flew in London to attend Frock On!, the international meetup organized by The Tea Party Club, the Gothic Lolita community in the UK. At the event there were more than 300 girls from all over the Europe, as well as numerous brands from all over the world, including Grimoire and Atelier Pierrot.
J*Fashion: Cult Party Kei
After several months, we are back to our section about Japanese street style. This time, we deal with Cult Party Kei, a style that can be easily confused with Dolly fashion or Mori for the many similarities that characterize them, from the use of vintage inspired clothes to layering and the choice of accessories, showy and antique-style. Even the reference shop for those who love to dress Cult Party, The Virgin Mary, has clothing and accessories suitable for both. What changes is the aesthetics at the base of the style.
