Apparently, circus has become a very popular theme in Japan. If x-San has delighted us with its new characters Sentimental Circus, Sanrio raises the stakes with Magical Circus collection (which I like very much, I must confess).
The protagonists of the new line are Hello Kitty, My Melody and Little Twin Stars, thrown into a surreal fantasy world of acrobats, magicians and jugglers. All three characters are in costume for the occasion: Kitty dressed as a black cat, the twins as bunny and teddy bear, and My Melody… well, she is a rabbit, as usual, but a little bit more naughty!
The new series arrives in stores a few days after the introduction of Sanrio Friends, an Eurobeat compilation (the musical genre of para-para dance) dedicated to the three most popular characters at the moment, which features Magical Circus artworks on the cover!
