Raise your hand if you don’t know macarons! In recent years, the colorful French pastries (a sort of almonds meringue filled with cream or fruit) have become popular worldwide. We are crazy for them as well, and everytime is possible we dash in a branch of Ladurée, the most famous French patisserie specialized in these delicious cookies (you can buy them in Italy in Milan, but we were able to eat them even in London).
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the maison, Ladurée called none other than Hello Kitty, for one of the sweetest collaborations ever. So, the collection Hello Kitty x Ladurée is born, where the classic and delicious macaroons and chocolates limited edition boxes join a series of cute accessories and stationery.
The collection will be on sale from this week in Ladurée pastry shops worldwide! Finally, a curiosity: did you know that March 20 is World macarons day? If you have never tasted macarons and you’re somewhere near a Ladurée shop, this is a good opportunity to do so (I recommend the ones with chocolate, caramel and raspberries: they are delicious :sbav: )!
