Kitty Intelligence

As usual, in Hong Kong is coming a new interactive exhibition devoted to the Sanrio world! This time, our beloved Hello Kitty (or better, Kitty Da Vinki) stars as a famous scientist specializing in robotics, head of Sanrio Robotic Institute (SRI) and inventor of the Robot K, whose project has come to this day thanks to an ancestor.

Visitors of K.I. Beta, as a novice scientists, will have the opportunity to work within the Kitty Intelligence Training Institute with their own Robot K, exploring the whole robot production line: research and development laboratory, mechanical engineering, product design, assembly, quality control and evaluation and, finally, inception of artificial intelligence. The SRI is built like a maze, so visitors will have to find their way to the next room, accumulating points useful to obtain some accessories to enhance and customize their Robot K (which they can take home)!

Of course, there is a gadget shop open to visitors as well, with special products, rotot-themed accessories! T-shirts, cups, iPhone covers… there’s even a special tool kit with wrenches, screws and bolts to be used as a keychain (which, needless to say, is my favorite gadget)!

Sanrio Hong Kong routinely organizes live role playing games dedicated to Hello Kitty and her friends, real events for the fans. In 2010 it was the turn of “Who’s the Next Hello Kitty?“, a contest to elect the new queen (or the new king) of Sanrio world. Even before, there were the kawaii laboratory of “Kittylab” and the adventure “Hello Kitty Black Wonder”, which both landed in Puroland.

Obviously, I want a Robot K as well!
