We have already talked about Sanrio Foundation, the association founded with the goal of bringing a smile on the faces of underprivileged children. Obviously, the Foundation is now very active to help victims of the Japanese tsunami!
On April 8, in fact, it took place in Barcelona the Charity Fashion Night, a fundraiser organized by Sanrio Foundation in collaboration with the Spanish designer Elizabeth Arnau, who often incorporated in her collections elements that recall Japanese aesthetic. The runway, in which there was also bags and accessories by Camomilla for Hello Kitty, was accompanied by a charity auction, during which various accessories donated by Sanrio and some others made for the occasion by Arnau were offered as prizes. During the evening there was also a workshop and a sale of paintings by Rieko Ukeama. All proceeds were donated to the Japanese Red Cross. Are you curious? Here are some photos of the evening!
