In Japan, a new collection of miniatures dedicated to Hello Kitty is coming out . So, what’s the news? Well, this time the news deserves to be highlighted, if only for the name of producer: Square Enix. What’s with the famous company of video games and gadgets? Since several years, as many of you already knows, Square Enix goes hand in hand with Disney (they are the people behind Kingdom Hearts, for instance) and, among other things, they produced several series of beautiful miniatures (“Formation Arts”) dedicated to the world Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other cartoon heroes.
Recently, it was announced the release of a new collection dedicated to our favorite cat, in the unusual role of “historical” women: a French princess, the Empress of China, a Greek goddess, the Queen of England, an Arab dancer. The dolls are packed in decorated eggs that closely resemble the famous Faberge eggs. The striking thing is the extreme attention to the details, evident in the pictures… and we can bet that they will be just fine in person, thanks to the well-known qualities of Square Enix gadgets.
Some specialty stores, including cdjapan, already allow for pre-order the entire set of miniatures, at a price of 45-50 Euros (excluding postage). Personally, I think that the collection is wonderful (and different from the usual): Hello Kitty French is so cute! What do you think? What is your favorite?
