Events: Teacup – Italian Lolita Teaparty

On April 6th, Milan hosted Teacup – Italian Lolita Teaparty, the first ochakai entirely organized by the italian Gothic Lolita Zone community! In short, an event organized by and for the Italian lolitas, totally independent. One of the organizers is our Debby, who has made a brief report of the party. The photos you see in this post were provided by Sybelle Photography and the users of Gothic Lolita Zone (you can see more pictures on the Facebook page).

For the first Teacup, the location chosen was Residenza Vignale, a beautiful old villa of the early ‘900, located in the heart of Milan. The event was attended by 54 girls (and companions) from all over Italy, who had the opportunity to spend an afternoon between pastries, slices of cake, tea and chats with old and new friends.

At the Teacup, there were also 6 handmade brands (Mon Alicorn, Mad Tea Party, Poupeé Baroque, Rosaspina, Graveyard Rose Shattered Memories, Strega Corvina) who exhibited within the market space, while an area was reserved for the modeling workshop held by photographer Martina Sybelle Peloponesi and Deborah Luna Santarelli. Of course, there was also a photo shoot where the girls were able to immediately put on practice the advices of Deborah and Sybelle!

As usual at teaparties, finally, there was also a raffle with lovely prizes: Shobi eyelashes, the book “I racconti del dormiveglia” by Deborah Luna Santarelli and a wonderful dress from Innocent World! The next day, it was the turn of the traditional national GLZ meeting, also in Milan! As always, it was chosen a very scenic location in the hosting city: this year, the La Scala theatre and the beautiful theatrical museum, which we recommend everyone to visit (and maybe just add a brunch at That’s Bakery 🙂 )!

Finally, here is the video made by Kira with some moments of the tea party! We hope that the event will happen again next year, just as successfully (and congratulations to the organizers by me that could not come). If you want to see more photos of Teacup, we refer again to the Facebook page of GLZ!
