The fact that kawaii characters are opening on the fashion world by collaborating with more or less famous brands is not new. This time, it’s the turn of Sentimental Circus, the San-x circus animals that have won our hearts since their first appearance (and the hearts of many kawaii-girls of a certain age). And the result of their first fashion collab is truly remarkable!
Shappo & co., in fact, are now the protagonists of Sleepless Masquerade, the new capsule collection of Alice & The Pirates, punk-pirate themed line of Baby, The Stars Shine Bright. The collection consists of two dresses (one jumper skirt and a full dress), a headdress and a bonnet that reflect the gothic and dreamy style of Sentimental Circus. On BTSSB website there’s also a video from the last Tokyo International Gift Show which also shows a complete Kodona outfit (and a unidentified stockings line).
Sleepless Masquerade will be on sale from April, but reservations already started and most of the items are sold out. How to give wrong to the lucky purchasers? We would also do anything to wear them! What do you think? 😀
