If your favourite TV series is in summer break and you do not know what to do, we give you some advice. On Netflix, the second season of The toys that made us has just come out. It’s an extremely interesting series of documentaries (there are eight, about forty minutes each) dedicated to the characters who accompanied our children’s games. Watched for you: Aggretsuko, the Sanrio anime on Netflix
We announced it a few months ago and now Aggretsuko has finally arrived on Netflix! The animated series dedicated to the adventures of Retsuko, the red panda created by Sanrio, is available from April 20th worldwide on the famous streaming platform. Do you remember Sanrio Boys? We talked about them almost a year ago, after the release of the first trailer of the anime that sees them as protagonists. The last of the 12 episodes aired a couple of weeks ago and we bingewatched them one after the other. Studio Pierrot produced the series and it is only the last piece of a multiplatform project that includes a manga, a videogame and a future theatrical show. One of my most vivid childhood memories is this: I have chickenpox and I’m spending all of my convalescence on the couch watching repeatedly Ducktales episodes. The gang that kept us company in the Nineties (in sickness and in health) is now back with a brand new series debuting in Italy, on Disney Channel, Sunday Novembre 26th. Ready for a new appointment with anime on the big screen? Next week, in Italy it will be the turn of A silent voice, directed by Naoko Yamada (one of the few Japanese female directors) and one of the biggest success of last year in Japan.
