As usual, in Hong Kong is coming a new interactive exhibition devoted to the Sanrio world! This time, our beloved Hello Kitty (or better, Kitty Da Vinki) stars as a famous scientist specializing in robotics, head of Sanrio Robotic Institute (SRI) and inventor of the Robot K, whose project has come to this day thanks to an ancestor.

Among the many initiatives emerged to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami occurred last March, we wanted to show you the ones taken by Yahoo!Japan and Goo, two of the most popupar portals and search engines in Japan, which have enabled two identical fundraising. Participation is restricted only to residents in Japan, but we wanted to let you know anyway.

Sanrio Foundation: Hello Kitty brings smiles to hospitals

Sanrio company, as you may remember, is no stranger to charitable initiatives. Hello Kitty has long been an ambassador for UNICEF and since many years she is the godmother of some Japanese events to raise awareness of women and children’s social problems. In recent weeks, there was much talk about Sanrio Foundation, the new initiative by the Japanese company aimed at bringing a smile to sick children around the world.
