Probably our readers fall into two categories: those who cannot wait to pack and leave for Japan and those who already visited Japan and are looking forward to go back. Fabio Bartoli, a representative of that generation (to which we belong as well) grew up watching anime and reading manga, decided to pack and leave for Tokyo for a two weeks trip. Probably, some of you already know that: we have a frenzied passion for Re-ment. For the few who still don’t know what we’re talking about (if they exists), a brief summary. Re-ment is probably the most famous Japanese company producing miniatures. There are many different sets that cover a myriad of topics, from food, to the classical kawaii characters and home appliances. Typically, they are sold in blind boxes, surprise boxes with one of the chosen set of trinkets inside. Obviously, they’re loved from collectors!
Hello Kitty and Swarovski: “House of Hello Kitty”
Omotesando Hills, the shopping center in Tokyo street famous for its chic shops, hosts in these days, “House of Hello Kitty”, a special event organized by Sanrio and Swarovski, presenting the new line of jewelry dedicated to the cat with a bow!
