12 kawaii puppies to start the new year

According to the Chinese Horoscope, 2018 is the Year of the Dog! Officially, the new Chinese year will start on February 16th, but we want to celebrate it a bit earlier by making you know some four-legged kawaii characters you may never heard about. We have chosen 12 of them, one for each month of the year: what’s your favourite? Happy 2018 to all of you!

    January. Berry Puppy (San-x, 2009). She is a soft puppy who loves strawberries. She always wear a strange hat that makes her look like, coincidentally, a strawberry.

    February. Pero wa tomodachi (Sanrio, 1992). Pero is the white puppy of Daisy, character of Peek-a-Boo line. He was born in Paris and loves milk and naps.

    March. Iiwaken (San-x, 2016). He is the zealous shiba inu of a salary man who never hear his alarm clock. Luckily, the dog always finds an excuse to get his master out of bed.

    April. Chibimaru (Sanrio, 2003). He is a shiba inu puppy full of energy, who loves to have long walks along the river and eat bone-shaped cookies.

    May. Koinu no Toromi (San-x, 2012). Toromi is a female French bulldog puppy, soft like mochi (her favourite food). She’s very lazy and a big eater.

    June. Fuwa-mofu Pometan (Amuse). Pometan is a white Pomeranian, soft like cotton candy. He loves to play with a ball and stay with his friends, Pomedai and Pomemaru.

    July. Peter Davis (Sanrio, 1977). This four-legged playboy was born in England and he’s a dandy with an unbeatable taste for fashion. This motto is cleanliness and nobility.

    August. Homecoro (San-x, 2008). He’s a pomeranian and he’s always making compliments to others. For some odd reasons, he’s friend with a chicken. Being in his company makes always feel people better.

    September. Spottie Dottie (Sanrio, 1990). She’s a sweet Dalmatian always wearing a ribbon in her head. She loves fashion and thanks to her style she always stands out of the pack.

    October. Chiwawanko (San-x, 2002). They’re Chiichan, Hanachan and Chaochan, a group of small Chihuahua always curious, sometimes mischievous, and full of energy.

    November. Mameshiba San Kyoudai (Amuse). Mametaro is a very patriotic shiba inu who is traveling with his siblings to discover the beauties of Japan.

    December. Robow@n (Sanrio, 2000). He’s a robotic dog who can run, sit, sleep and also get angry like a real dog. He communicates with humans through emoticons.
