Nooka x Tokidoki x Sanrio: a watch for Emergency

We already told you about Sanrio Foundation, the charity founded with the purpose of raising funds to help children in need. Their latest collaboration is the one with Nooka and Love Through Design, which produced a special limited edition wristwatch (only 300 pieces!) with the distinctive designs by Simone Legno, creator of Tokidoki. The Zub Zirc 38, this is its “code name”, was created to help Emergency, the association that has been working for years in the hospitals of the poorest countries to guarantee everyone the right to medical care.

On newsstands: Sanrio Foundation x Emergency

Fan of Hello Kitty and good deeds? There’s a good news for you! Sanrio Foundation, the charity founded by the Hello Kitty brand to help the underprivileged children, hits the Italian newsstands in support of Emergency. From November 29th, in fact, in collaboration with Mondadori and Fabbri Editori, you can buy a special Hello Kitty stationery set, with a lined notebook, notepads and pocket for documents, in two colors. The cost is 9.99 Euro (excluding the price of the paired magazine) and all proceeds from the sale will be donated to Emergency, which for years has been working to promote respect for human rights and to provide medical care the poorest regions of the world.

Sanrio company, as you may remember, is no stranger to charitable initiatives. Hello Kitty has long been an ambassador for UNICEF and since many years she is the godmother of some Japanese events to raise awareness of women and children’s social problems. In recent weeks, there was much talk about Sanrio Foundation, the new initiative by the Japanese company aimed at bringing a smile to sick children around the world.
