Kawaii games: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

We told you before: Animal Crossing is one of our favourite games. Sadly, in the last few years we’ve been far away from the game main series (we wonder what happened to our villages in Wild World), but we had the chance to meet again the weird villagers thanks to the spin-off Happy Home Designer. Since few days ago, for our delight, Animal Crossing world is a little bit bigger, so much it arrives in our pockets thanks to the new smartphone game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

In the first part of our review of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, we told you about the game and our impressions of it. However, one of the good things about the new Nintendo 3DS is that for some games (included Happy Home Designer) the fun doesn’t end with the game card. In fact, there are also amiibo cards and some other nice functions that make the game even more fun.

At the time of our trip di Japan, in our shopping list there weren’t just Lolita dresses or Rilakkuma plushes: there was also Nintendo DS. And when we went back home with our shiny second or third hand consoles, one of the first games we played (and one of the reasons we wanted the console) was Animal Crossing. It was love – and obsession – at first sight!
