Hello Kitty’s airplane arrives (maybe) in Italy

If you are an Italian super fan of Hello Kitty or of kawaii things in general, you are lucky: one of your dreams could come true in a few months! In fact, starting from February 2020, the Taiwanese airline Eva Air will also be en route to Italy, more precisely to Milan Malpensa airport. This means that one of the special Boeing 777 with the livery dedicated to Hello Kitty could also land!

Kawaii planners 2020: our 5 favourites

That time of year has finally arrived. The period in which we begin to think about the planner for the next year, which coincides with the period in which Sanrio and San-x launch their new collection of diaries and calendars. In the face of bullet journals, our favourite planners remain the Japanese kawaii ones: already dated and in super compact format (the only flaw is that they are not very easy to find online). As every year, we went to take a look at the new selection in Sanrio and San-x online stores: here are the 5 planners (and not only) that we liked most!

Things we like: Sanrio characters Zebra Mildliner markers

Maybe you already know that we are crazy for stationery. And this means that we have drawers, pencases and desks literally invaded by pens and markers. Among our favourites to write and draw there are undoubtedly the famous Mildliners, produced by the Japanese company Zebra, among the first to launch the trend of pastel coloured markers. Instagram’s most loved highlighters now arrive in Asian stores in a lovely, limited edition dedicated to Sanrio characters.

Who is Yoshikitty, the revelation of the latest Sanrio Characters Ranking

Few weeks ago, Sanrio Characters Ranking, the annual survey to choose Sanrio characters most loved by fans, has revealed its winner for 2018. The latest edition (the 33rd) has reserved several surprises, especially in the first positions, where Hello Kitty gives up the lowest step of the podium to her “alter ego” Yoshikitty. But who is the new “rival” of the most famous kitty in the world?

Furla x Hello Kitty: kawaii bags for those who can afford them

The collection that we show you today ends up right in the “look, but not buy” category. Not because it’s not pretty, far from it. The problem arrives by looking at the price tag. Hello Kitty has in fact joined forces with Furla to create a kawaii version of the Metropolis, one of the most famous and beloved bags of the Italian brand, but not for all budgets. A must have for lovers of fashion and Hello Kitty.
