Hello Kitty and Helena Christensen: a t-shirt for Oxfam

Hello Kitty is once again the protagonist of a new charity initiative. This time, she is collaborating with Helena Christensen, one of the most famous top model of the Nineties, now a photographer and an ambassador for Oxfam, a network that operates all around the world to eradicate poverty starting from sustainable development.

Christensen is a big Hello Kitty fan and she enthusiastically accepted to collaborate with Sanrio for the creation of an exclusive t-shirt decorated with Swarovsky crystals. On the t-shirt, there’s the Hello Kitty version of the model herself, who followed for four years Oxfam around the world to document their work and the effects of climate change in the most affected areas.

The t-shirt is on sale from this month in Coin stores here in Italy, at the price of 29,99 Euros. All proceeds will be donated to Oxfam Italia, within the Women’s circle for change campaign. The initiative aims to raise funds involving Italian women in a solidarity network to help other women in the poorest countries in the world, places where their rights are often denied.
